How many times have you picked up the telephone to call a company and
found yourself in an electronic maze? "Please press 1 to place an order."
"Press 2 to report a problem." "Press 3 for..." When
you finally get through pressing all the buttons and listening to the background
music or infomercials, what happens? More often than not...you end up getting
cut off!
The sad thing is that this appears to be the norm for customer "service"
in the "New Millennium;" at least for companies who have forgotten
just who it is they supposedly serve. What a shame!
We are a high-tech company in terms of the processes we offer, but we're
pretty "old-fashioned" when it comes to the customers who make
up our extended family. When you call our toll-free number, 800-327-1776,
you'll speak to a real, live person who is 1) fully qualified
and 2) really cares about you and your photographic concerns.
Perhaps you'd like to see the faces of the nice
folks who man (or woman) our phones.

Dorothy is our Customer Service supervisor.
She has been with our laboratory for 25 years. Every bit the Southern lady,
Dorothy hails from North Carolina. Following her husband Whitey's retirement
from the U.S. Marines, Dorothy started with us in a part-time job. She's
been an important part of our family ever since.

Louise has been with our company
for 20 years. Born in Pennsylvania, she spent most of her married life in
the metropolitan New York area. Her specialty is sports photography and
she is on a first name basis with most of the professional photographers
of the National Football League and Major League Baseball who we serve.
Louise is very much a "can do" person, who goes out of her way
to fulfill every customer's needs...above and beyond their expectations.

Tim is Mr. Precision. Beyond being
an expert advisor to customers seeking answers to photographic and computer
questions, Tim also supervises our Data Entry department. He's probably
the person you'll speak to regarding anything to do with credit or billing.
A native of North Carolina, you'll find Tim easy to deal with and always
a gentleman.

Karen truly cares about every customer.
If you call with a question and she doesn't know...or isn't 100% sure of
the answer...Karen will tenaciously hunt down whoever she thinks has the
"truth." It's kind of a running joke in our company about the
number of times she goes directly to Dale with a Customer Service "concern"
to make sure she's doing the "right" thing. Karen is an absolute
pleasure...and the best friend a customer could ever have!

Elaine was born to speak on the telephone.
You'll recognize her by her sheer enthusiasm. She knows every product and
service we offer...and is constantly working toward the new and the better.
Most of the new, digital services we offer are her ideas...and many of those
ideas come from her being such a great listener to your ideas. So, if you
get Elaine on the phone, give her a "piece of your mind"...or
at least your favorite idea. She'll really appreciate listening
to it.

Peggy is such an "up" person
you'll probably hear her smile over the telephone. She also loves photography
and can answer just about any question on the "how" of picture
taking. When she's not answering phones, Peggy works directly with photographers
at our Customer Service Counter.

Penny helps keep track of enlarging
and reprint orders as well as individual "scanning" orders for
Photo CDs and Picture CDs. She has an uncanny knack for simplifying even the
most complex, customized orders so they go smoothly through the lab. Originally
from St. Paul, Penny still lapses into speaking Minnesotan every now and
then. But, if you call her, you'll find Penny as friendly as Florida sunshine! |

With the diversity of our Customer Service staff we have a multitude
of American-English accents. If English is not your native language, we'll
be happy to conduct the conversation in any of the many other languages
we also speak. They include:
German, Spanish, Russian
and Ukrainian
