Photo CDs Are Ideal for Your Desktop Publishing and Business ApplicationsNow you can get professional quality digital images for your brochures, newsletters and dozens of business applications. Kodak Photo CDs are compact discs containing digitized images that can be used in your computer. Photo CD images can be easily viewed on your monitor and printed in either full color or black and white on your laser or inkjet printer. If you have Microsoft Word or other word processing programs with OLE, you can even drag-and-drop your photographs directly into your documents. Kodak Photo CDs start at just 54 cents per scan when we develop your 35mm negative or slide film. Scans are also availabe from previoulsy developed negatives or slides for $2.50 per image. On orders greater than 50 scans, quantity discounts apply. Kodak Photo CDs have an Image Pac consisting of five quality levels, each at an increasing level of resolution. You receive all five formats with each image. Then, you choose which format you'll use based upon the amount of resolution required for your primary use.
Kodak Photo CDs can only be made from 35mm negatives or slides. For 120 and 4"x5", we also offer Dale Pro Scans up to 500MB. In general, personal photos, pictures for business reports and presentations or scans for separations that will have relatively small (8"x10") printed pictures can be made on Kodak Photo CDs. For high-end publishing where you will either be using screens above 133 lpi or for larger photos, you should choose Dale Pro Scans.
